PAYPAL IS UP AND RUNNING!!!

Journal Entry: Sun Feb 24, 2013, 10:48 AM

Now it's just a matter of how to get money from people into it.... any help?? :D

haha but yeah, I just set up my personal checking account with BoA yesterday and made my Paypal account today! So guess who's gonna start selling money commissions on her dA now???

Since I am really new at this and I don't wanna like DRAIN people of money, how much do y'all think I should sell my art for? I love to draw for people so it's not like it's a bunch of trouble, so I don't wanna be liek SUPER over pricey and stuff D: But there is a certain fee that comes with transferring money when selling products. Is anyone familiar with that who'd like to help me out with this? I'm a little flustered with all of it :iconawkwardplz:
(I was thinking about the invoice sending, it looks the cheapest and easiest for people to use, I'd need to get e-mails from the buyers though if they don't mind doing that)

PLUS.
What I may think about doing is opening a couple of spots for people to be in animations for a certain amount of money (this would be for like, funny random animations I feel like doing or stuff, and it's just an idea being thrown about in my head so I dunno, but I think it'd be a good shout-out to my subbers and watchers!! :D )

Lemme know what you guys think about this idea!! You always seem to know how to help me out! :iconbrohugplz: ~

I'll still have point commissions because I know people who don't do money commissions that I'd still like to get stuff from, so yeah =w=~

more info:

Im sure the bank..or paypal has you pay a FEE ... my advice...is keep your bank and your paypal seperate

...why put money into the bank when you can buy things online AND OR... just save it up?
paypal is used just about everywhere now..so I strongly advise not to transfer paypal money into your bank account UNLESS it is absolutely .. necessary !!

*MORE INFO*

when people PAY YOU with paypal... paypal deducts a FEE as well...TO AVOID THIS! Tell people ahead a time to send the money as a GIFT or else paypal likes to deduct like ..50-70 cents (a little fee but still annoying)

Thank you so much for the info! This is super helpful Ash :iconfrufflesplz:
I haven't gotten my main card from my bank yet (I gots this temporary one until I get my official one, but my account already has 250$ in prize money from an art competition I won in it) and I think that saving up on Paypal sounds like a good plan since I'll also be getting graduation money to put into the bank account anyway.

and I wouldn't have known about the gifting thing at all! That is SUPER!! :iconshaplz:
So I'd tell them to use the e-mail connected with the paypal and send it as a GIFT. OTAY! :D
